What if our children are less than enthusiastic?

What if my husband and I are enthusiastic about homeschooling and our children are less than enthusiastic?

A lot depends on the age of the child. A young child may not understand enough to accept the idea. The young child simply hears that a change is being made and may naturally respond with resistance. In time the positives of home education can turn resistance into enthusiasm. Young children are more easily lead in this area but older children should be part of the decision making process. No one likes to be coerced. If home education is right for your family, the goal should be to get everyone to embrace the advantages.
