Teaching multiple students and levels

How do you teach multiple grade levels at the same time?

There are several subjects that can be taught to some or all of your children at the same time. These could include history, science, art, music, Bible, physical education, etc. In many of these areas it is not so important which year the information is taught as long as it is covered. As students get older, they should be able to spend more time working independently. Parents can plan to spend educational time with younger students first thing in the morning while the older students work on assignments independently, and then give individual instruction to the older student later in the day.
