Dealing with Unsupportive family/friends

How do you deal with harsh criticism from family and friends about your decision to homeschool?

The best thing you can do is to be honest, faithful, and diligent in your homeschooling efforts. Try to spend time with people who do support you to offer a balance to the situation. Be patient, as time passes the results will speak for themselves and opinions may begin to change. You also must decide who it is you are trying to please. It is never possible to make everyone happy.
