    Barbara and husband Tripp live in Waterford, Virginia, with 10 of their 12 children. Their two oldest daughters live nearby, homeschooling eight grandchildren. Barbara began homeschooling six children in 1993, but after six years began taking a year-by-year approach, seeking God's direction for each child to complete his/her education.
  • Ellen Dunn
    Ellen Oldacre Dunn is author of several books and a contributor to the college preparation book, Transitions: Preparing for College, compiled by Art Herron. She is the mother of two college students.
  • Christine Field
    Mark & Christine Field were married in 1986 and had the typical dual-career marriage. After practicing law for eight years, Christine left the work force in 1991 to be a full-time mother. Chris now homeschools her four children and is the author of several books, including Help for the Harried Home Schooler.
  • Maggie Hogan
    Maggie Hogan is a motivational speaker and co-author of The Ultimate Geography and Timeline Guide, Gifted Children at Home, and other resource books. She and her husband Bob have been homeschooling their boys since 1991. Involved in local, state, and national homeschooling issues, they both serve on boards of home education organizations in Delaware. They are also owners of Bright Ideas Press, a homeschool company dedicated to bringing the best practical, fun, and affordable materials to the homeschool market.
  • Amy Hollingsworth
    Amy Hollingsworth received her B.A. degree in Psychology and English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her M.A. degree in Education/Counseling and Human Services from Regent University. Amy teaches Psychology at Mary Washington College while continuing to homeschool her two children, Jonathan and Emily. She has written extensively on homeschooling and parenting issues for several publications.

    Chris Klicka is Senior Counsel of the Home School Legal Defense Association, as well as Director of State and International Relations. He is the author of several books, including The Heart of Homeschooling and Home Schooling: The Right Choice, published by Broadman & Holman. He and his wife Tracy homeschool their seven children.
  • Brian D. Ray, Ph.D.
    Brian D. Ray, Ph.D., is the president of the National Home Education Research Institute (www.nheri.org). Brian and his wife Betsy have been married 23 years and have eight children, all of whom have been home educated since birth.
  • Mike Smith
    Mike Smith is the president of Home School Legal Defense Association. Mike and his wife Elizabeth homeschooled their children for 15 years. (They are now all grown!) In addition to his duties at HSLDA, Mike and Elizabeth speak at homeschooling conventions across these United States.
  • Kathryn Stout
    Kathryn Stout is an educator, consultant, speaker and author. Kathryn has dedicated herself to helping homschooling parents teach in a manner that will bring out each child's talents and gifts.
  • Zan Tyler
    Zan Tyler is the Home School Resource and Media Consultant for Broadman and Holman Publishers and Homeschool Editor for lifeway.com. She and her husband Joe have three children and have been home schooling since 1984.
  • Diana Waring
    Diana Waring has been married 25 years, has three of the best children in the world, has homeschooled forever, and has a passion for encouraging parents to enjoy their homeschooling/parenting adventure.
  • Cindy Wiggers
    Cindy Wiggers is a veteran home school teacher, author, publisher, and motivational speaker. Her workshop presentations are full of practical ideas from true-life experiences gained from home schooling her 3 children (2 college graduates), 14+ years of involvement with home schooling community, and her intense desire to inspire success in others.
